Hello everyone, Tomorrow (Saturday the 15th) Ali and Corie Peterson are going to travel up North together. Ali is going all the way to the Peterson's stay Saturday night then go the rest of the way to Houghton from the Peterson's Church. Then Ali is going to stay with all of my Mom's side of the family tell the rest of us come up on Thursday (the 20th). Please be praying for them on they're way. Thanks!

Snow, snow and more snow!! We have so much snow!!! I can't believe that Christmas in only like 13 days away! That seems to be creeping up REALLY fast! What is everyone doing for Christmas? Well, this Saturday of this week Ali is going up North to Houghton, then Thursday the 20th the rest of my family is going up North to have my Mom's side of the family's Christmas party, then on are way home we are going to have a Klahn Christmas party with only the close family and then heading home.

Snow!!! Its snowing today! They said it might get into a blizzrd!! The whole sidewalk and driveway is coverd in snow!! They said (the weather people) we were going to get like 4 to 7 inchs. That isn't very much, though. Zack just informed me that they're is only half a cm at the most on the sidewalk and driveway. I think they're is more then that though.

Yesterday our Aunt and cousin left.

Dress Rehearsal

Hey everyone!

Tuesday we had a dress rehearsal that was videotaped. Then Tuesday night after play practice, Ali, Zack and I slept over at the Seibels' house. Wednesday we went to play practice with them and had another dress rehearsal. Some people were invited to watch. Tonight we are doing our first play performance. I'm getting a little nervous, not really though. I only seem to get nervous when we get there and when people start to get there. Tonight everyone in my family (except for Dad and Anja) are going to meet my Dad's Dad and Mom early at Culvers. I can't wait until then. Then I think that Ali, Zack and I are going to the church early to get ready.

Hey!

Friday night my gramma (Mom's Mom) and step-Grampa came and surprised Emmy, Grace and Elsie (the rest of us knew they were coming). Our Aunt Jana and cousin Austin also came. Ali and I didn't know that they were coming. Ike and Zack knew because Dad told them they might be coming. It was so fun!!! They left today at about 1:00. Saturday afternoon Gramma Jackie, Mom, Jana, Ali and I went to a chiropractor, went out to eat at Old Country Buffet, and shopped at Half Price Books and TJ Maxx. It was a lot of fun!! But they were only able to stay for about 1 1/2 days. That was sad, but it was fun for the time we had with them. I can't wait until we can see them again.

The play date is getting so close!! I can't wait until the play performances start. Everyone knows their lines better. We did the play with our costumes once, but that is it. On Monday the director wants to run through the play 2 times. I hope we can wear our costumes then.

Quick update.

Hey everyone. How's everyone doing?

Yesterday Ali's friend came from Kansas. She is staying till Sunday.

I can't believe that on Monday we are doing the play act 1 and act 2 on the real stage!! Props and everything. I don't know if we are going to use are costumes or not. We are going to find out who is going to take props off when and where. The real shows are less then 2 weeks away! The people that are playing the prince and the pauper didn't have all of they're lines memorized for the practice on Wednesday. On Monday no one can have scrips! On Monday we have to be at practice at 9. So we have to leave at 7:45 (we live about one hour away).

Another Brewers Game!!

Last night our Grandparents, Ike, Zack and I went to a Brewer game. It was a lot of fun, even though they lost :( We sat lower then we usually do. Two foul balls came right above us and bounced off and landed in front of us like 12 feet. The 8th inning took REALLY long, Ike said it took half hour!

Brewers Game!

Hey everyone,

Well, Saturday night my whole family went to a Brewers game! We had 4 extra tickets so some of our friends came with. They won 5 to 3. Prince Fielder and J.J. Hardy both hid home runs. It was a lot TON of fun! The last game we went to with some friends they lost like 8 to 2. So it was a lot more fun!

Jacob is doing good. He is getting SO big! And cute.

Hey!

Last night we had our first play practice. We are doing the play "The Prince and The Pauper". I am a Street Urchin (I have a few lines), Ali is Gammar - the Pauper's Gramma (Ali is more of a main part so she has more lines) and Zack has three parts, he is a Guard, a Lord and a Ruffian (he doesn't have that many lines). There are going to be three plays.

Right know Jacob is at the hospital. :-( He is on the Bilirubin (sp?) light. Mom is staying as a guest

Wow, it's been a while since my last post.

It has been about one and a half weeks since the Illinois square dance Convention. My sister Ali has pictures on her blog.

Today the Burants came over. They stayed tell about 5pm.

Hey y'all

Yesterday Ali, Grace and I had piano lessons.

This Saturday is a square dance convention. I can't wait. It is from 10:00am tell like 10:00 or 11:00pm. It is a three day thing, but dad didn't really want us to all three days. So we are going to leave early Saturday morning and come back late that night. We are going down with some friends. We aren't sure who all is coming with us though.

Next Tuesday Ali, Ike, Zack and I are going to a drama workshop that some of our friends do. It is to help you get ready to be in a play and stuff like that. There is a class for 8 to 11 year olds (the one I'm going to be in) and one for 12-18 year olds.

My Mom's due date is about 4 weeks away! I can't wait!! We are going to call him Jacob.

Rummage sale.and a bunch of other stuff.

Hey y'all!

Last Saturday we had a rummage sale. Our friends (the Burants) came over and helped. We were up the night before pricing stuff and we didn't even get all the stuff priced then. When some people came we were still getting stuff from the barn. It was from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. People still came a little bit after 4. Rachel Burant and I had a little stand, and we sold soda, water and cookies. I was a lot of fun. Everything was $ .50, and we made $19.65. It was a lot of fun.

Then Saturday night Ali, Ike, Zack and I went to a square dance with a bunch of friends. It was A LOT of fun!!! It was PLUS dance.

Tomorrow Ali, Emmy and I have piano.

Then this Wednesday my family is going up North to see my Mom's side of the family. I can't wait to see everyone! We'll get to go swimming and ride on jet skis. We are leaving when Dad gets home from work in the morning. We were going to leave at like 9 pm when Dad was done with work, but now we are leaving early.

Our Great Great Gramma is doing better, she said that she would see us on the fourth. Thanks for the prayers.

This Saturday(the 30th) my family is going to have a rummage sale at our house.

On the 4th of July after Dad, Ike and Zack are done milking, we are going to go up North to our Grandparents cottage. We are probably going to get there around 3am. We are going to stay for about 4 days. They live by a lake and they have jet skis. I can't wait!!

On Sunday there was a square dance that us four older kids went to. On Monday some friends (the Petersons) came over. They left this morning at 6:30am. They got up pretty early, some around 5 so they could get ready to leave.

Tomorrow night there are square dance lessons.

This Saturday my Dad's side of the family are going to come to our house for the day. Then Zack and I are going to go up with our Grandparents spend several days at their house.

Catching up

Hey all!

I think you all know that my Mom is going to have a baby boy, for sure!!! We all are really exited!! We had a girls name picked out, but now we need a boy one. Tell us if you have any ideas! And If you don't know , Mom is due on August 21st.

On Thursday night there were square dancing lessons. Mom, Zack, Emmy, Grace and I went. We weren't sure if Grace was going to learn but we were pretty sure that Emmy was going to learn, though. Grace isn't going to learn. A bunch of other younger girls that we know are learning too. It is really cute! I learned when I was seven.

Sunday Fun

Hey all!! (date 4/30/07)

Yesterday was Mrs. Siegmann's surprise birthday party. It was a lot of fun! There was some contra dancing, then there was some square dancing. We might have gotten some pictures of it, but I'm not sure. If we did I'll try to put some pictures up.

Today I had a piano lesson. Ali and Emmy didn't come because Ali had a play that she does hair in and Emmy is at my dad's mom and dad's house with Ike.

Recital

Hey all!!!

Yesterday we had our piano recital!!! I didn't mess up at all. Emmy messed up on one of her songs, but for the duet she didn't mess up. After the recital Emmy and Ike went home with Gramma and Grampa Klahn. Then this Thursday evening my family (every one but Ali) is going to pick them up. We are going to spend the night at Grampa and Gramma Klahn's house. Then we will spend the day at Gramma and Grampa's house, and that night go to some friend's house. We have a wedding on Saturday, then we come home.

Today is our friends mom's surprise birthday party!!! I can't wait!!! There is going to be contra dancing and square dancing!!! It is going to be at 3:30 this afternoon. It is going to be super fun!( I think).lol

Last night Ali, Ike, Zack and I went to a square dance! It was a lot of fun!

This Saturday Ali, Emmy and I have a piano recital! I will be playing It Is Well With My Soul and a duet with Emmy. Ali is playing As The Deer. It is going to be a duet with our piano teacher. She's also playing a different song, but I forgot what it is called. The day before the recital my dad's mom and dad are coming for the recital. They are leaving the day of the recital with Emmy and Ike. They will be staying with them until Friday. Then on Friday my family (every one but Ali) is going to pick them up. Then we are going to go to a wedding and will come home.

The day after the recital some friends of ours are having a surprise party for their mom. There is going to be contra dancing, too.

New Skirt!!

Hey everyone!

Ali and I just finished making my new skirt, but we still have to hem it, and I think that is it. But I did most of the sewing. I like it a lot! It is really long. It is a darker color. It is a pretty full skirt. I can't wait to wear it to a square dance! I might put some pictures on here of it.

very short update

Hey everyone!

This morning my dad, mom, Ike, Zack, Grace and Elsie went to church. Ali, Emmy, Anja and I stayed home because Emmy got a gash in her foot last night. Dad use to work with Sports Medicine, so he sort of knew what to do. She is on the couch because dad and mom don't want her to walk on it.

Sorry this is such a short and boring post, but I don't have a lot to talk about. Just who went to church and that Emmy got a gash.

Game night and Surprise!!!

Hey!

Last night (the 13th) Ali, Ike, Zack and I went to a surprise birthday party game night for Matt Schwalbach. It was a lot of fun! It was my first time going to a game night. We stayed there til midnight. Ali, Ike and Zack were able to go to a game night before but I could not go because I was sick. =( They have a foosball table and a ping pong table. We played lots of different games. There was one game that was called wackum. Here is how you play: Everyone has a fruit name. There is one person in the middle that has something that you can hit people with (like a rolled-up newspaper). Then someone starts. They call the name of their fruit and someone else's fruit name. The person in the middle has to try to hit the person that the first person called. This is probably very confusing, though. It is easy to learn when you you are talking in person. But it was really fun and funny game!!! I don't know if Ali got any pictures of the game night.

My birthday

Hey everyone!!

On Monday night Emmy and I had a group lesson. A group lesson is something you do with piano. It's when a bunch of kids close in age get together and do a bunch of stuff with piano. When our group lesson was done we picked up some friends and they spent the night. The kids that spent the night were Cassie, Christian and Corinna Kloth, and they stayed the day of my birthday. Christian is 12, Cassie is 9 and Corinna is 4. They have a younger sister that didn't spend the night. She is 2. Her name is Renatta. Their mom came and picked them up Tuesday night. They stayed till like 10:00pm. I'll hopefully be able to put some pictures up of them from when they were here.

We played basketball when the Kloths were here! It was lots of fun!!! The teams were Zack, Ali and Cassie against Ike, Christian and me. But in the middle of the game Cassie wanted to stop so I did too. My team won, though!! The score was 22 to 14. I got the second point of the game!!

Then for my birthday the Kloths got me a bunny in a basket, a journal with a kitten sitting by rose and a picture frame that you can decorate, and I decorated it. Then from my family I got a pair of cowboy boots, two shirts (we have to exchange them because they are too small) and a bingo game from Grace.

At our house it is snowing really hard:( I think we are going to get 4 to 8 inches!!) We didn't go out side at all. I was really bored. It was starting to get warm, and now it is snowing really hard. There are like 4 inches out side right now.

She is such a good help with all her little sisters, and loves them soooo much!!

We all missed Dad and the boys desperately while they were gone, and cherished the phone calls!!

She is always so cheerful and has a ready smile.
When she was younger her nickname was "Sunshine" because every morning (with the exception of a few her entire life) she comes downstairs with a huge smile on her face!! If she was grumpy, we only had to say "Don't smile, Aleks" and she would smile SO big!!

A Thursday Update

Hey!!

Yesterday Mr. Shell took my family and Mr. Chun out to eat. After that we went to some friends that have a farm so that Mr. Shell and Mr. Chun could look around.

Sunday morning at 1am dad, Ike and Zack are going to China. They are going to stay there for about a week. Mr. Shell is going to leave Sunday sometime.

Today the man that lives on the farm in china, Mr. Shell, is coming. He is going to stay till next Sunday. Then on the same day my dad, Ike and Zack are going to leave and go to China. I don't think dad and Ike and Zack are going to ride on the same plane as Mr. Shell, or leave at the same time.

Moving to China? And we're home!

Hey All!

We might be moving to China!!! My dad was offered a job on a dairy farm there. So we might be moving there. Tomorrow the man that is running the farm there is coming to the USA. Then April 1st, my dad and my two brothers are going to China to look around at the farm. They are going to be gone for about a week. When Ike, Zack and Dad are gone, some friends (the Petersons) might be coming for a few days.

Tuesday night we got home from our grandparents' house. It was about 9 pm. We all were really tired. We had lots of fun! The lake they live on was frozen, so we got to go on it. They have 4-wheelers and snowmobiles, so we got to go on the ice with them. Emmy and I got to drive the 4-wheelers a little when someone was riding with us. Dad was the only one that drove with us. Dad took Grace and me for a ride on one of the snowmobiles once and it was really fun!! We played some card games too! Some of them were peanuts, speed, president and hong kong. The older kids, grandma and grandpa and Dad and Mom played sheepshead, cribbage and other games.
